Landrum started in staffing. Before payroll, HR outsourcing, and offices across the Southeast, we were a small employment agency in Pensacola with a simple purpose: help people find work and help businesses find the people they needed.

As our clients’ needs changed, we grew with them. A client who first needed temporary help might later ask us to handle payroll, benefits, or workers’ compensation. Others needed help finding the right person for a hard-to-fill role or managing an entire onsite workforce.

We did not add services because we were looking for the next thing to sell. We added them because our clients trusted us with their challenges. More than 55 years later, that is still how we grow: by listening, building relationships, and finding ways to help.

National Staffing Employee Week is personal for us because staffing is where our story began. More importantly, it is a chance to recognize the people at the heart of this work.

The temporary and contract employees we place are not names on a list or positions on a spreadsheet. They are people showing up to work, learning something new, supporting their families, and helping businesses keep moving. Some assignments last a short time. Others open the door to a new career. Every one of those opportunities matters.

Our services have expanded and our footprint has grown, but our purpose has not changed. We are still here to help people find meaningful work and help businesses succeed through their people.

This week, I want to thank every staffing employee who has trusted Landrum to be part of their journey. We are grateful for the work you do, the trust you place in us, and the difference you make for our clients and communities every day.
